Our fifth night out found us in Crescent City at the Curly Redwood Lodge.  This place is very 1950's in decor and style.  Supposedly, the entire motel was built from just one redwood log. Crescent City was the city which was hit by a tidal wave back in 1964 in the middle of the night after a giant earthquake struck Alaska. Several people were killed.  We got a suite at this hotel for $95.
