We are walking aside the remains of the Dyerville Giant.  For years this was the tallest tree known. However, about 10 years ago it fell over. Roger said it felt strange to walk beside it because he remembered as a child looking up at this tree and being really impressed that he was standing next to the tallest tree on earth---and now it is on the ground!
